For every new client that signs-up, we provide an interest-free small-business loan to a struggling entrepreneur somewhere in the developing world, through a global non-profit organisation called Kiva.
What is the difference between a single-page and multi-page website?
A single-page website, as the name suggests, consists of only one page. All the content, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements, is contained within this single page. Users navigate through the content by scrolling down or using internal links that jump to different sections on the same page.
A multi-page website consists of multiple interconnected pages. Each page contains specific content or serves a particular purpose, and users navigate between these pages using navigation menus, links, or buttons. Multi-page websites are suitable for larger projects, businesses, blogs, e-commerce sites, and any scenario where a more extensive range of content is required.
Is there a contract to sign?
No lock-in contracts apply. Prior to the development of the website, the customer and PrimeSites will settle on the terms of a Subscription Agreement.
The Subscription Agreement outlines the Subscription Period, Recurring Subscription Fee and the percentage saving applied based on the Subscription Period and the length of the up-front Recurring Subscription Fee.
The length of the Subscription Period is determined by the Recurring Subscription Fee paid up-front.

Can you help with the domain registration?
PrimeSites can register a domain on your behalf, against your ABN number, so it remains your intellectual property.
The registration and annual renewal of one domain is included in your hosting subscription.
Should you need more than one domain, we can also register these on your behalf at the regular retail cost.
Who owns the domain?
The domain is the client’s intellectual property and will be registered against their ABN. PrimeSites effectively just take over the billing on behalf of the client.
Does PrimeSites provide the content for the website?
At PrimeSites our primary focus is the design and development of the website. The client provides the content for the website, however we provide each client with extensive resources to assist them through the process.
No time or no idea? No problem! If you have a basic idea of the content you’d like on your website or even just a few bullet points, we’d be happy to help flesh it out into polished, engaging content at a once-off charge.
What needs to be provided before development can start?
Once a client signs up for a monthly hosting subscription, we provide them with a kick-off date for their project as well as next steps.
The client provides the content, branding specifications, any specific graphics required and any other additional components or information necessary prior to the allocated kick-off date assigned to the client’s project.
Any delays in the provision of these components will result in a delay in the release of the website.
We are happy to assist with content writing at additional cost and can also recommend reputable service providers.
Can the subscription be cancelled at any time?
PrimeSites offers a no-questions-asked refund within 30 days of signing up.
Hosting subscriptions can also be canceled at any time. In this case, the transfer of a website to a location of the customer’s choosing, may attract a service fee payable to PrimeSites.
We offer a unique proposition to our clients, through which we design and develop a new website, free of charge, when a client signs up to a hosting subscription with us. Through this mechanism we allow businesses to have a very low financial barrier to entry for the establishment of their online presence.
For the building of a new website, we incur a market related cost, based and depending on the complexity and the design. The only way for us to recuperate that cost is to keep our clients long term, and we strive to do that by providing a premium level of service for as long as the website is hosted with us.
So rather than paying a few thousand for the design and development of a new website, this mechanism allows our clients to effectively pay off the initial cost of the website build over a period of time; while having the hosting, management, domain renewals and updates to the site covered by us and included in our affordable hosting subscription fees.
If the client chooses to move the website elsewhere or hand over the hosting to someone else, we calculate a rough buy-out amount. The calculation is based on the initial cost of development, minus 50% of the subscription fees paid to date. This is simply because roughly 50% of the monthly/annual subscription fees goes towards hosting/licensing/management/etc. costs, while the other 50% goes toward the recuperation of the development costs we incurred up-front.

Does PrimeSites manage the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) too?
At PrimeSites we never make any guarantees to clients about where their website will rank on Google or other search engines. SEO and how effectively the website ranks on search engines depends on a combination of things.
However we go to great lengths to ensure all our client websites are optomised for accurate structure and high performance. We pay particular attention to the performance indicators that are monitored by Google – i.e. largest contentful paint, total blocking time and cumulative layout shift.
One of the primary factors is the quality of the content/text on the site and how key phases that the client hopes to rank for are incorporated into the text on the website. We therefore educate and assist our clients with how content and other internal and external factors can help their SEO ranking and how they can easily maximise this themselves.
PrimeSites does not offer ongoing SEO management services, however we are happy to recommend reputable service providers.
What is the upfront cost for a website?
Nothing! When a client signs up for an affordable hosting subscription they get the design and development of a single-page website – like this one – included, free of charge.

Can you help with a blog, multi-page website and/or online shop?
Absolutely!
A blog functionality can be added to the website at any stage and a once-off set-up cost applies.
Should a multi-page website be the preference, the home page is included in the hosting subscription and a once-off development cost will apply per additional page.
If clients would like to incorporate a shop interface, member login, API integration or other dynamic contents, we can also cater for that.
However, we would work with the client to estimate the scope of work and quote for the additional work up-front.
All of these costs are heavily discounted based on the premise that the client signs up for hosting subscription.
What does the hosting subscription include?
A PrimeSites hosting subscription include:
- Domain name registration and annual renewal
- Secure SSL Certificate
- Basic search engine optimisation (SEO) to improve search ranking on Google and others
- Mobile-friendly designs
- World-wide content delivery network and strong caching mechanisms to speed up our websites
- Nightly back-ups, dual-server deployment and optional automatic failover

- Maintenance and support
Can the hosting subscription be changed at any stage?
Different payment frequencies are available – please see Subscription Options.
A hosting plan can be changed at any stage, i.e. from a monthly subscription to an annual plan.
Who owns the website once launched?
The domain name remains the property of the client, during the lifetime of the Subscription Agreement. See Termination of Subscription Agreement for more detail regarding domain names.
Any content (text) and graphics (images) provided by the client that have been placed on the website, remain the property of the client.
The design of the website, the code supporting the hosting and display of the site and any part of the website not expressly provided by or implemented by the client remains the intellectual property of PrimeSites, during the lifetime of the Subscription Agreement and thereafter.
What about a business email account?
The set up of up to 4 cloud-based business email accounts of 5GB each are included in the hosting subscription.
This is setup by PrimeSites on the reputable 3rd party email platform called Zoho Mail, using their free plan and the email accounts are accessed via the Zoho website or desktop and mobile apps.
Is it possible to move a website to a different host?
A client’s website (design, implementation, contents, graphics, images, etc.) may be transferred to the customer to a location of the customer’s choosing, after the termination of a Subscription Agreement, however fees will apply.

How long does it take to get a new website?
A kick-off date for each client website project will be clearly communicated at the time of sign-up.
Once development has commenced, and depending on the size of the project, it takes approximately 2-4 weeks before the first draft will be ready to review.
If PrimeSites is not able to launch on the day requested, we will inform the client prior to the date and arrange an alternative launch date.
Are design templates available to choose from?
Each website created by PrimeSites is custom designed and tailored based on the client’s branding and the look and feel they want to achieve.
